Primary Objective:
Psychologists work within a Multi-tiered System of Support framework to build capacity of educators to support students to maximise their educational outcomes. School psychologists perform psychological assessments with students for various reasons using psychometric testing, observation and interviews with parents and teachers. Consultation, comprehensive assessment, treatment planning and short term therapeutic interventions are provided to students learning, behaviour and personal/social competence concerns that may be having a direct impact on educational outcomes. Several vacancies are available in various locations throughout the Northern Territory. Selection will be made at the P1 or P2 level depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.

Charles Darwin University graduate entry psychologists who receive a Final Year Higher Education Scholarship will receive financial support (subject to successful completion of their studies and pre-employment checks) and permanent employment as an Inclusion Advisor Psychologist. In this role, you will work within a Multi-tiered System of Support framework to build the capacity of educators to support students to maximise their educational outcomes. Inclusion Advisor Psychologists also perform psychological assessments with students for various reasons using psychometric testing, observation and interviews with parents and teachers.
