Primary Objective:

Birthing services in the NT are provided in 4 geographical locations (Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, and Nhulunbuy). Antenatal, postnatal, and intrapartum care is delivered right across the NT. Models of care provided by NT Health include: • Midwifery Group Practice (caseload/continuity of carer) • Team midwifery • Remote Area Maternity care • General Practitioner Obstetrician care • Shared care • Public hospital maternity care • Public hospital high risk maternity care. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience (1664-1976hrs) in a relevant area of clinical practice. Several vacancies are available in various locations throughout the Northern Territory. Several vacancies are available on a full time, part time and casual basis.
