Primary Objective:

Provide specialist technical advice relating to the regulation of environmental (mining) licences and undertake compliance and enforcement action in relation to mining activities under the Northern Territory Environment Protection Act 2019 (EP Act). Mining Division is seeking to fill two environmental mining officer positions. Several ongoing and fixed vacancies to 05/03/2026 are available. Selection will be made at the P1 or P2 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.
