Primary Objective:

As an Authorised Officer under the Radiation Protection Act 2004 assist in the implementation of the regulatory regime in the Northern Territory to protect people and the environment from the harmful effects of radiation; in particular, assist processing applications for radiation authorities, managing the database of radiation authorities and implementation of a program of inspections and audit of radiation practices.
