Primary Objective:

The Sport Engagement Officer for Alice Springs Masters Games 2026 will oversee all elements of sport competition and operations, including liaising with sporting bodies, coordinating officials, managing results and schedules, and ensuring competition safety. The role will help deliver memorable medal ceremonies, contribute to sport-specific marketing efforts, and support broader recognition initiatives for athletes, volunteers, and ambassadors. As a key point of contact for sports partners, the role will ensure competitions run smoothly, safely, and to standard, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and the Games workforce. The role will also assist with day-to-day office operations and provide frontline event support as part of a high-performing team delivering one of Central Australia's most iconic events. This is a part time vacancy available for 0.5 (18 hrs and 30 mins) per week.
