TEMHS - Forensic Mental Health Team

Primary Objective:

As a member of a multi-disciplinary forensic mental health team, the position will work across prison, hospital, court and community settings to provide expert mental health assessment, treatment and consultancy services in respect to individuals involved in the criminal justice system. Engagement with clients, carer’s, clinical team members and multiple stakeholders will ensure high quality holistic care for people with a mental illness. A recognised mental health qualification and eligibility to practice as a Designated Mental Health Practitioner under the NT Mental Health Act is required to fulfil the inherent requirements of this position.
