Primary Objective:

The CEO is the Solicitor for the Northern Territory under the Law Officers Act 1978 and exercises the powers, responsibilities and duties conferred under section 8 of that Act. The CEO is also accountable for delivering justice services, regulation, legal policy, prosecution services and court and tribunal support services including to independent bodies and acts as a steward of the broader NTPS providing strategic leadership and direction to Government, stakeholders and the community. An Executive contract up to 4 years may be offered.
