Primary Objective:
Manage, lead and develop a best practice Mental Health Model of Care for the new Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Royal Darwin Hospital, including the development of guidelines, policies and procedures, while providing authoritative strategic and operational advice that shapes contemporary nursing and midwifery practice and supports high quality, culturally appropriate and effective mental health service delivery across defined practice areas in the Northern Territory. / Leads, collaborates, and provides strategic direction for service wide research programs, identifying opportunities to support research activities, ensuring compliance with established standards, protocols, and governance to enable delivery of high-quality research projects, and establishing partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance research collaboration. Selection will be made at the SP2 or N7 level depending on the experience /qualifications of the successful applicant.
