Primary Objective:

The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Accounts Payable team to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of payments in line with prescribed policies and procedures. The role is accountable for the section’s ongoing development, training, technical expertise, client service and resource allocation to meet changing demands. It is also responsible for identifying, recommending and implementing process improvements, responding to ad hoc tasks as required; and ensuring a strong customer experience by liaising directly with vendors and agencies, including via telephone, to resolve queries and support timely payment outcomes.
