Primary Objective:
The Director Ecosystem Management supports the strategic leadership of, and provides operational management to, the Ecosystem Management Branch. The Ecosystem Management Branch focuses on the conservation and management of the Northern Territory’s habitats and their biodiversity, in both terrestrial and aquatic (marine and freshwater) ecosystems. This includes strategic, integrated assessments of biodiversity values to inform management, and long-term programs to monitor and report on the health of the Territory’s biodiversity. While working across the Branch’s portfolio, the Director will have a key role in overseeing the delivery of the aquatic monitoring and research programs.
