Primary Objective:

Lead a whole-of-government reform of the Northern Territory Government’s data sharing and governance arrangements and the related legislation impacting the use of data in the Northern Territory Government and participation in strategic sharing programs of national significance. This role will lead the reform activities, effectively communicating the approach, plan, management and coordination with stakeholders and engagement with Northern Territory Government agencies through various committees and senior leadership groups. Provide advice on options for policy change and data reform, to support safe, lawful data sharing across government, organisations and the public. An Executive contract of up to 2 years may be offered or the successful applicant may be appointed at the SAO2 level for 2 years, the level of appointment will be subject to negotiation.
