Regional Strategy and Coordination – Territory Regions division

Location:

Alice Springs, Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Nhulunbuy

Primary Objective:

You will lead and manage the Regional Strategy and Coordination unit, providing strategic advice and support to the General Manager Territory Regions, as well as coordination support to Executive Directors across the five Territory regions. You will support The Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet’s regional teams to implement the Government’s priorities of Rebuilding the Economy, Reducing Crime and Restoring the Territory Lifestyle. You will drive initiatives, strategies and projects that contribute to regional development, working closely with your colleagues in the Strategic Policy and Delivery and Aboriginal Partnerships and Reform teams. You will also coordinate the provision of high-quality advice to the General Manager, CEO, Ministers and Cabinet regarding regional issues and priorities, including Aboriginal affairs. This vacancy may be available in either Alice Springs, Darwin, Katherine, Nhulunbuy or Tennant Creek subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.
