Primary Objective:

The Senior Community Development Officer plays a key role in strengthening community outcomes across the Top End Region by providing high-quality project management, practical guidance, and strategic support for a diverse range of community-focused initiatives. The role supports the Top End Community Development Director and Project Manager by enabling effective engagement with communities, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and helping drive place-based approaches that empower local decision-making and implementing the Empowering the Bush strategic framework. This includes supporting initiatives that build local capability, enhance service delivery, and contribute to meaningful, sustainable outcomes across Top End communities.
