Primary Objective:

Guide and mentor junior staff to deliver economic research, quantitative analysis, forecasting and policy analysis. Lead complex statistical analysis, demographic model development, macroeconomic and revenue model development for forecasting and scenario analysis development. Lead complex policy modelling and analysis projects and persuasively communicate results. Lead model reviews from externally provided modelling and present results to senior stakeholders. Build quantitative tools to analyse the Territory economy and develop clear evidence based economic narratives for public use. Manage quality assurance and model development processes. Prepare and review economic impact analysis, including using demographic modelling scenarios, to assess the impact of economic shocks. Prepare complex analytical reports and lead development of budget statements.
