Alice Springs Hospital Paediatric Unit

Primary Objective:

Provides leadership, management and oversight to both the paediatric ward and the paediatric outpatient department. Responsible for operational management, risk mitigation strategies and quality improvement activities. The position works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across Alice Springs Hospital and community stakeholders and is responsible for 37.66 FTE and an annual budget. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term. One vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 2 years.
