Primary Objective:

This role is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the NT Fire and Emergency Service emergency management footing; seasonal planning and preparedness and related activities of Territory Emergency Management Council. It oversees grants and contract management relevant to emergency management services and contributes to agency and cross government strategic and operational policy, procedures and plans relating to emergency management. An Executive contract of up to 4 years may be offered or alternatively the successful applicant can select to be appointed on an ongoing basis.
