Primary Objective:

As part of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Research support Libraries provide a specialised information service and advice to research, development, and extension staff across Agriculture, Fisheries, and Biosecurity, and their industry partners. The role is responsible for current awareness alerts, original cataloguing, acquisitions, departmental publications aspects, web content, and database administration. The position is responsible for the daily operations of the Berrimah Library service and is supervised by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Manager, Research and Information Projects at the Arid Zone Research Institute in Alice Springs.
