Primary Objective:

The Integrated Care National Disability Insurance Scheme Team conducts comprehensive discipline specific assessments and prepares reports. The Psychologist also engages with internal and external stakeholders to support people in custody living with a disability to gain access to the NDIS. The Psychologist conducts comprehensive clinical assessments and makes recommendations for prisoners in the custody of the Department of Corrections who are suspected of having a disability. The Psychologist provides professional input into appropriate management and treatment plans. Additionally, they provide input into the development, of policy and practice and provide peer consultation, training and professional support to colleagues as required.
