Primary Objective:

Provide specialist technical advice relating to the regulation of environmental (mining) licences and undertake compliance and enforcement action in relation to mining activities under the Northern Territory Environment Protection Act 2019 (EP Act). Several ongoing or fixed vacancies may be available in either Alice Springs or Darwin subject to negotiation with the successful applicant. Selection will be made at the P1 or P2 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.

Special Instructions:

Aboriginal applicants will be granted priority consideration for the P1 vacancy.
