Primary Objective:

The Director provides leadership and direction on the provision of strategic policy and manages the legislative framework for optimal local government service delivery. The role fosters the partnership interface between Northern Territory Government and Local Government and oversees the delivery of Government priorities for the Local Government portfolio. An Executive contract may be offered or the successful applicant may opt to be appointed on a fixed basis up to 13/11/2027.
